Verschiedene Abfüllungen von Glengoyne 

Das "Standard" Sortiment von Glengoyne umfasst den 10, 12, 15, 18, 21, 25 jährigen und den cask strength (ohne Altersangabe) Whisky. 
Hauptsächlich für den Duty Free Markt wurde eine Abfüllung Namens Burnfoot herausgebracht.
Eine weitere Besonderheit bei Glengoyne ist, dass eine große Anzahl von Einzelfassabfüllungen auf dem Markt ist.
Hierfür werden nur die besten Fässer (Sherry, Bourbon, Port...) ausgesucht und es entstehen so einzigartige Whiskys.

Einige der neusten Abfüllungen:

Vor kurzem (2015) ist die vierte Edition des Teapot Dram heraus gekommen. Diese außergewöhnliche Abfüllung ist nur in der Destille erhältlich und auf 3178 Flaschen limitiert. Der Whisky lagerte ausschließlich in First Fill Oloroso Sherry Casks und wurde mit 58,7% abgefüllt.
Seit 2014/2015 ist eine 25y. Abfüllung auf dem Markt, die die Range nach oben hin ergänzt.
Weiteres Highlight ist der 35y. Glengoyne. Dieser "High End" Whisky kommt in der gleichen noblen Karaffe, wie schon der 40 jährige und in einer extrem hochwertigen Verpackung. 

Falls Sie Glengoyne einmal besuchen, haben Sie darüber hinaus noch die Gelegenheit sich Ihren eigenen Whisky vor Ort abzufüllen. Dieses ausgesuchte Distillery Cask liegt im Besucherzentrum und wechselt von Zeit zu Zeit. Oft hat man auch das Glück, dass es im Distillery Shop Abfüllungen gibt, die nur dort angeboten werden. Zur zeit ist das eine 15y. Single Cask Abfüllung.

Cask Strength Glengoyne Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Digestive biscuits, ripe bananas and a hint of pepper. This is the taste of Scotland’s slowest distillation, bottled as tradition insists: at cask strength, un-chillfiltered. Like every Glengoyne, the amber hue is created by time and oak, nothing more.

 

Glengoyne 15 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Complex, sweet and rounded – with a spicy oak finish. This is the taste of distilling slower than anyone in Scotland, and of barley we dry by air, never peat. The flavours develop in hand-selected sherry casks – balancing deep character with light vanilla notes.

 

Glengoyne 18 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Spicy vanilla fruit, ripe apples and a rich, luxurious mouthfeel. This is the result of 18 long years and a generous proportion of first-fill sherry casks. And of the patience we take over the slowest distillation in Scotland.

 

Glengoyne 21 Year Old Highland Single Malt Whisky

Christmas cake, honey and rich fruit – with a long cinnamon finish. Perfect after dinner, or frankly, anytime. We distil slower than anyone else in Scotland. Then we mature exclusively in hand-selected sherry casks, for twenty one character-building years.

 

Glengoyne 25 Year Old Highland Single Malt Whisky 

Matured exclusively in hand-selected sherry casks for a quarter of a century, this unique malt is an important addition to the Glengoyne collection. This bright amber beauty has red fruits, leather and brown sugar on the nose and soft oak, cinnamon, stewed fruits and a Seville marmalade tang on the palate.The finish is very long with spicy liquorice.

The malt is presented in a new heavy bespoke bottle and outer box. The bottle features a fine metal stopper, crafted cartouche and delicately branded neck tag and is attractively displayed in an oak box interior which includes an engraved plinth. The elegant exterior has a refined feather pattern subtly varnished on the pack.
